Direct Engagement Email Program (DEEP/E-Direct) Specs

Option A – Client Provided HTML:

  1. HTML code: In-line style, with hosted images and live links, and all necessary closing tags. Limit the width of your HTML to 600 pixels. Exclude JavaScript or any other scripts from the code. To prevent clipping in Gmail, the email size must not exceed 102KB.
  2. Subject line: 50 characters max, including spaces. Preheader (optional): 80 characters max, including spaces.
  3. Preferred company name to appear in the email header (The email was sent by EnsembleIQ brand on behalf of Company Name).
  4. Names and email addresses of those responsible for testing and approving the email deployment. Please designate one of the seed names as the final approver.

Option B – EnsembleIQ Produces HTML:

  1. A PDF mockup of the intended email layout.
  2. A Word document containing all of the text and links to be used in the email.
  3. Images or logos (JPG, PNG, GIF format).
  4. Subject line: 50 characters max, including spaces. Preheader (optional): 80 characters max, including spaces.
  5. Preferred company name to appear in the email header (The email was sent by EnsembleIQ brand on behalf of Company Name).
  6. Names and email addresses of those responsible for testing and approving the email deployment. Please designate one of the seed names as the final approver.

Production Timeline:

  1. Deployment dates must be suggested or approved by EnsembleIQ.
  2. For OPTION B ONLY, there is a minimum 72-hour turnaround time for email creation, and a $100 fee for additional revisions after the first two rounds.
  3. Test emails are sent out at least one day prior to the final deployment to verify correct HTML rendering. Any changes or approvals should be submitted upon receipt, by the end of the same day.

Any delays or deviations from the timeline may result in rescheduling the final deployment date.
